One visual inspiration for the album cover is A Tribe Called Quest’s Midnight Marauders for its community approach and lasting impact on Hip-Hop culture. Community, collectivism, and solidarity are many themes to the album, while the album cover lends itself to that. There are other several subtleties to the album cover.
Around the border of the album cover consists of an adapted poem from William Morris (artist and poet); an extension of tracks 1-12 in meaning. You may also notice there is no root to the rose in the middle of the cover. Don’t forget to check out annotations on Genius to grasp all of the subtleties of Bulletproof Soul’s upcoming album.
